The New York Times challenged us to create a campaign to help New Yorkers learn the difference between fact and fiction when reading the news. In a tumultuous time when our audience struggles to get further than the headline of an article and bite sized news is all people consume, we wanted to help build the public's skills by creating a color coding system that easily identifies the differences between the three pillars of the news: fact, opinions, and analysis, and reaches them where we know we have their undivided attention: the subway.
